50 km away from Neishabour, there is a mountain that in addition to the turquoise sky, also has a turquoise land and it is the most famous Turquoise mine in the world,Turquoise stone which is unrivaled in the world and its quality is so high that it is considered as a criterion for measuring and evaluating other turquoise stones in the world.
The largest Turquoise mine in the world, which according to the latest archaeological findings dates back to more than 3,000 BC.
Turquoise mine of a region about 40 square kilometers has several tunnels within which 16 types of turquoise can be extracted, Ajami turquoise which is in garlic blue color ,is the best and most quality of this mine.
Turquoise mine is located near the two villages called the upper and lower mine. This mine was owned by the public sector until 1981but the share of the residents of the two neighboring villages was only the smelling of dirt and watching the trucks passing by, but by continuous following up, the management of the extraction of the Turquoise mine, has been handed over to the residents of these two villages since 2002, and now all the workers and the board of directors are among the residents of these two villages and in a way, the life of the people of these two villages is mixed with turquoise stone and there is a trace of this stone in every moment of their lives and they live with it. Searching and breathing with turquoise stone and building the future and achieving dreams are all seen in the eyes of mine residents, and for them there is nothing more important than the joy of reaching pure turquoise or the fruit of the difficulty of finding turquoise. A stone that is always symbol of the inner and outer peace due to its color and properties.

در فاصله ۵۰ کیلومتری از نیشابور، کوهی وجود دارد که علاوه بر آسمان فیروزه ای، زمین فیروزه ای هم دارد و آن معروف ترین معدن فیروزه دنیاست. فیروزه ای که در دنیا بی رقیب است و مرغوبیت آن به حدی بالاست که معیار سنجش و ارزیابی دیگر سنگ های فیروزه در جهان قلمداد می‌شود .بزرگ ترین معدن فیروزه جهان که بر اساس آخرین یافته های باستان شناسی قدمت بهره برداری از آن به بیش از ۳ هزار سال قبل از میلاد مسیح باز می گردد. معدن فیروزه با وسعت حدود ۴۰ کیلومترمربعی دارای تونل های متعددی است که از داخل آن ۱۶ نوع فیروزه بدست می آید که بهترین و مرغوب ترین آن فیروزه عجمی بوده و به رنگ آبی سیر است
معدن فیروزه در مجاورت دو روستای معدن علیا و سفلی قرار دارد. این معدن تا سال ۸۱ در اختیار بخش دولتی بود که سهم اهالی دو روستای مجاور فقط خاک خوردن و تماشای عبور و مرور کامیون ها بود. اما با پیگیری های انجام شده، مدیریت بهره برداری از معدن فیروزه از سال ۸۱ به اهالی این دو روستا واگذار شده است و هم اکنون تمامی کارگر ها و هیئت مدیره از دل اهالی همین دو روستا هستند و به نوعی زیستن اهالی این دو روستا با سنگ فیروزه عجین شده و در لحظه لحظه زندگیشان ردی از این سنگ جاری ست و با آن گذران زندگی می کنند. جستجو و نفس کشیدن با سنگ فیروزه و ساختن آینده و رسیدن به آرزو ها همگی در نگاه اهالی معدن پیداست و برایشان چیزی با اهمیت تر از لذت رسیدن به فیروزه ناب یا به ثمر نشستن سختی یافتن فیروزه نیست .سنگی که بواسطه رنگ و خاصیتش همواره نمادی از آرامش درونی و بیرونی ست
